I Wish

I wish I was a Prime Minister for the teenagers.

I wish I had big microphones and gigantic loud speakers.

I wish I could ask the adults to ponder,

Why treating us like kids when you want us to act mature?

I wish I was a caterpillar.

I wish I had more time to dream of flying.

I wish I could smile even though birds are starring at me up high. 

And knowing that it is either try or die. 

I wish I was an evil Disney character.

I wish I had more people to listen to my version of the story.

I wish I could tell them the reasons of my actions.

But sadly, the world won’t let that happen. 

I wish I was a tree.

I wish I had long roots.

I wish I could absorb all the tears of the war victims.

So that they will feel happy and sing.
